Installing Chirp on Ubuntu

I talk about a script I wrote to help me install CHIRP somewhat reliably on a fresh Ubuntu install. DISCLAIMER: I’m not a Linux expert, this script will uninstall the BRLTTY driver for braille devices, if you use a braille device you run this script at your own risk.

The script live at this link https://github.com/atvfool/Chirp-Install. The programming cable I use for radio that supports programming via the K-Type connector: https://amzn.to/3IViTjB. Keep an eye out for a deep dive on how the script works.
